Course Description: This eight-hour workshop will focus on meeting the following objectives:

1. Discuss the MSK ultrasound indication with examples.

2. Describe scanning techniques for shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, and ankle.

3. Hands-on workshop on learning the protocols in the shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, and ankle.

4. Discuss pathologies encountered during MSK ultrasound examinations.

5. Discuss practical tips on integrating MSK ultrasound to clinical practice.

This class is packed with practical skills for diagnosing and resolving the most common extremity peripheral nerve entrapments and neuropathies, including potent neurodynamic tests and treatments. We’ll review the etiology and presenting symptoms for the most prevalent, yet often overlooked, nerve entrapments. You’ll learn nerve tension testing and neurodynamic treatments, including nerve release and flossing for the most common radiculopathies and neuropathies. You will leave this class with advanced, practical skills to become the provider of choice for peripheral pain, numbness, and paresthesia.
